RCCL Celebrity Solstice Cruise Ship. Celebrity Cruises and acclaimed hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany team up for the first time with Solstice, the first in a new class of ships. Tihany conceived three main Food & Beverage venues for the ship infusing a fresh, modern look. With the use of innovative materials and a contemporary design approach, Grand Épernay, Tuscan Grille, and Oceanview Café, will all inevitably surprise and delight Solstice patrons. Grand Épernay, the sophisticated main dining room, seats over 1400 guests and features an  elaborate circular wine tower extending from the third level to the oval mezzanine above. The tower houses up to 2028 bottles and is enclosed by transparent six-meter glass fins.  The dining room was inspired by celebratory champagne and bubbles, shown in the white and silver tones throughout the space. An exquisite glass staircase connects the third and fourth floor dining areas with contemporary flying buttresses finished in metal and set diagonallywhichprovide a sleek contrast to the custom designed carpet pattern.

Tuscan Grille is a 130-seat elegant Italian-style steakhouse. Guests are welcomed by six rows of enormous wine barrels featuring a selection of fine Italian wines. A walkthrough “cantina” cave sheltered by limed oak arches above and dark green bamboo granite tile on the floor lead into the main dining room. The sleek and modern all-day dining Oceanview Café receives guests with a glass-enclosed entrance accented by back-lit bottles which are visible at night.  The main dining space is divided into intimate sections by a series of metal pipes, providing a contemporary look and resulting in a unique layout.  Columns are covered in two-way mirror glass, which reflects during the day and reveals color bottles through the etched surface at night – returning to the design feature introduced at the entrance.
