The Joule Hotel Dallas, TX. World renowned hospitality designer, Adam D. Tihany, is back at the helm of his original commission with The Joule Hotel. Leading the expansion, the significant transformation encompasses four neighboring buildings, expanding the hotel almost an entire city block. Tihany conceived the expanded hotel with an enlarged Lobby, Reception, Spa, Ballroom, Pre-function, Meeting Rooms, and an additional 21 guestrooms, 8 suites, and 3 stunning new penthouses.

One of Conde Nast Traveler’s “Best Business Hotels in 15 Cities 2012,” The Joule is one of Dallas’ most stylish and contemporary hotels, attracting both local and global clientele. Tihany’s unique design concept follows suit from the original - a great journey paired with the rich patina of Texan culture and energy, resulting in a sensuous hospitality experience.

Housed in a landmark neo-gothic building, the hotel’s Lobby updates its contemporary design with an additional 2,500 square feet. The existing Lobby Lounge features mohair and leather chairs in deep jewel tones set against ivory marble floors. The new reception area has been expanded and complemented with a stunning, signature lighting fixture crowning the arrival desk. Transitioning through the Main Lobby, guests proceed into a gallery corridor, lined with original hand-made mosaic collectables from the Mercantile National Bank, which Tim Headington, owner of the Joule, extracted from the original building’s walls.
